Expired Walgreen’s Register Rewards
Don’t let them expire!
I have to admit, I have a lot of Walgreen’s register rewards. When I had my first batch expire on me I soon realized that my organization of them was not working and came up with a new system. I find that my newest method makes my check out at the register much faster if I need a register reward in a pinch. Here’s what I do:
- Sort all the register rewards by amount
- Sort all the amounts by date with the register rewards that are going to expire the soonest on top
- Paper clip all the amounts together
- Done
I used to sort them all by date with the oldest ones on top but then when I needed a $3 register reward I found myself thumbing through them all to see if I even had one for that amount. This method slowed me and the line down and that is definitely something I like to do.
